My mother waited over an hour and a half for someone to help her to the bathroom. The best part was the staff in the physical therapy area. I’m thankful she’s home and continuing her physical therapy, but as far as all other aspects of this facility, I would look elsewhere for better care. Each nursing home that provides services to people with Medicare or Medicaid is required to make the results of its last full inspection available at the nursing home for the public to review.
Too many people will only post complaints...but I like to let people know when a place is good! I highly recommend Conway Lakes and would not hesitate to go there again or refer a friend or loved one. They left my grandma in her urine for over 8 hours. My grandma also has an eating problem where she cant eat her food fast, but here if she doesnt eat her food within 30 minutes they take it away. Seeing my grandma in this state has me very upset. She has lost weight, is very weak because she hasnt ate properly, and overall not doing well. I tried speaking to a manager or one of the nurses and they are nowhere to be found.
My husband stayed at Conway Lakes Health & Rehabilitation Center for three-and-a-half weeks. It was clean, but his room was dreary and was not well-lit. He had a roommate, and that nice, homey feeling was not there. He got his therapy and he got his meals, but there was not a lot of interaction with the staff.
